Biography
Stefani Adams is an oil painter that specializes in realism. When creating work, she directs her focus towards fine detail - attempting to push personal boundaries with paint and material. Although she paints a variety of subject matter, she specializes in portraiture. As a part of her practice, she offers minimal information about the intention behind her pieces - she leaves plenty of room for interpretation. Stefani puts her artwork into the world while providing the opportunity for viewers to make their own personal connections with the pieces.

“Through my artistic practice, I create room for awareness in the mind and body. Creating is a personal and intimate experience, it allows for a new understanding of the self and world. Within the process of painting and drawing, mindfulness is practiced - centring the body in the here and now.”
